Bio Garantie GmbH is an accredited inspection and certification body in accordance with ISO 17065. All activities are subjected to supervision by the Austrian Accreditation Authority and the National Office for Agricultural Machinerie and organic Prouction in Bozen.

The South Tyrolean provincial government approved guidelines for organic production and labeling of organic products with resolution No. 445 of March 25, 2013. These regulate areas of organic production that are not more precisely defined in Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 on organic production and in the corresponding implementing regulation (EC) No. 889/2008.
